	Donate Now Please Donate to the Macondo Foundation By sending your donation today, you can help us to achieve our dreams; to expand our communities and our ties to community; to nurture our writers, artists, and activists in their critical work; and to effect peaceful change in all of our hearts and our society. All donations to the Macondo Foundation are tax-deductible. We will gratefully acknowledge all donors on our website (see About Us/Funders). All donations above $1000 will also be acknowledged during the Macondo Workshop. We need funding for operational expenses, including staff and website development; for workshop expenses, including guest faculty honorariums and participant scholarships; for the Gloria Anzaldua Milagro Award; for the Elvira Cordero Cisneros Award; for the Casa Azul Residency Program; and for the launch of our health insurance program.
