Olivia Doerge has worked for more than five years as a journalist, editor and writer in multilingual media both nationally and abroad. Before coming on board as the Macondo Coordinator, she worked as a newspaper editor in Cambodia. She studied at the University of Missouri and recently completed a Master’s degree in bilingual and bicultural studies. She has lived and worked extensively in Latin America.
